It is the story of a mother whose son had disappeared during the Lebanese War (that lasted from 1975 to 1990) and who never lost hope of finding him.
In the estrangement of loneliness Mariam waits for her son, Maher.

She goes about her life and takes it day by day like others around her, except that she still waits for her 17 year old son who was taken away from her 22 years ago.
